DBS checks
Please find attached ** guidance from the County Welfare Officer John Leafe relating to the process for checking of valid, current DBS checks - this will also be emailed to all affiliated clubs but I thought you as secretaries of affiliated leagues and umpires associations should also be aware of it.

Are you undertaking some training to become a cricket coach at your club? If your club is in Rushcliffe Borough, the Council may be able to help with the costs of coaching courses.
Rushcliffe Borough Council operates a Coach Scholarship Scheme which will fund up to 50% of coaching course fees to a maximum of £200. Anyone over the age of 16 who is actively coaching in Rushcliffe and is associated with a club in the borough is eligible and applications must be made through the club.
