Rye Cafe & Bar Division A

P Bhabra 37 & 3-22 along with 4-34 from A Sandhu gave a much needed win for Attenborough 114-5 over high flying Kimberley 113-10. Carrington 201-8 consolidated their mid table position with a win over Balderton 131-10 with S Bazmi 51, Gemaal Hussain 37* & Gulraiz Sadaf 6-30 all playing key roles in the win. 100 from Hamish Moore and 5-51 taken by Peter Vladev cemented Ellerslie 212-8 into second spot with a winning draw over Collingham 134-9. 67 by Darren Bicknell helped Belvoir to a total of 189-10 but Akif Farooq 4-61 and Rhys Hayes 4-36 took the wickets in the win for Gedling Colliery 193-6 in which Ammar Khan hit 91 and James Barnes 56 despite a fine spell from Belvoir’s Dan Gibson of 5-49. Wollaton 176-8 edged closer to the title after dismantling opponents Plumtree 42-10 with Mustafa Iqbal taking 5-6.

200 Degrees Coffee Division B

Hasnan Nasir hit 104 for Carrington 235-6 in the winning draw over fellow promotion contenders Calverton 180-7. A Hart 88, B Moore 3-31 were the double act that saw an easy win for Clifton 243-4 dec over Kirkby Portland 111-10. Ryan Cuthbert 4-33 and Terah Pearce Kieron Hooley with 4-35 looked to have put Eastwood 122-10 under pressure but Jack Wyer then took 4-26 to dismiss hosts Long Eaton for 98-10 in reply. Ben Lee 75 top scored for Hoveringham 197-6 but in form Nott’s Unity 198-6 took the win to join the promotion chase in earnest. Dev McCarthy hit 64 for Southwell 135-8 but visitors Wollaton 139-3 were seen home by W Rattray 58 that backed up the 4-41 taken by A Riaz

Rothera Sharp Division C

Beeston & Toton 96-5 gave their hopes of survival a massive boost with Tom Fullwood taking 4-49 in the win over Fiskerton & Thurgarton 92-10. West Bridgfordians 110-14 still head affairs with an away win of Caythorpe 107-10 as Stuart Plant took 4-11 to set up the win. Paul Blatherwick with 58 followed a fine spell from Jez Hale taking 5-49 that saw victory for Gotham 152-5 over Gedling & Sherwood 150-10. A stand out performance from Dhruv Shahi 59* & 4-25 decided the match between Keyworth 228-7 against hosts Hucknall 117-10. A quartet of fine performances from Tom Johnson 58, Alex O'Dowd 55*, Joe Wilcox 51 and Jordan Harbottle 48 & 4-20 saw Radcliffe on Trent 247-4 gain a winning draw over Farndon 180-9 as Ian Robinson hit a defiant 82*.

Rex Gooding Div D

31 from Dean Parkes backed up the spells of 4-18 from Richard Hanrahan and 3-9 by Mark Spibey in the closest of victories for Bramcote 108-9 over Collingham 107-10 for whom A Shaw took 4-26. Tim Snapes 109*, Alex Collins 3-27 and Tom Rudman 4-16 were responsible in taking Bingham 209-7 to a convincing away win over Ellerslie 100-10. J Hutchinson with 30 & 4-14 enabled Bottesford 224-4 to a comprehensive away win over Plumtree 89-10 as they switch positions in the table. Hickling 106-2 not only gave their chances of promotion a huge lift they also dented rivals Thrumpton 100-10 as Ian Fisher 58*, Harvey Fenwick 5-16 and Tom Spawton 4-27 turned the screw. East Bridgford 79-3 returned home victorious when defeating bottom side Grantham 76-10.

Trophy Master Division E

C Drury 3-24 and M Evans 3-34 bowled leaders Newark R&M 152-9 to victory in an away win over Belvoir 126-10. A superb 104 from Ian Lane was the highlight in the win for Caythorpe 206-5 but they were given a scare as Robert Shead hit 64 and James Wood 68 in Kirkby Portland’s score of 201-6 in reply. Shiraz Kayani 60, Mohammed Mehmud 49 and Shahzad Naheem 4-19 guided Ruddington 164-10 to a home win over neighbours East Leake 103-7. Nott’s Unity 187-5 gained an impressive away win at Sutton Bonington 70-10 with Arslan Shak 51, Mohammed Nisson 37, Naser Hussain 38* and Shakeel Taj 4-19 all figuring during the match at some point. 54* from Craig Smithurst was not enough to stave off defeat for Underwood 144-8 as hosts West Bridgfordians 146-4 were seen home by Peter O'Donoghue 39* and Anthony Orange 32.

GB Bookkeeping Division F

Dan Barry 4-12 and Sam Sanders 6-19 heaped more misery upon Gotham 33-10 as Wymeswold 35-0 took maximum points. Tim Pilkington took 6-28 but the saw his Lenton & Willoughby side collapse to 47 all out as John Noall took 7-16 for victors Lowdham 134-9. D Smith 65, J Lawson 3-27 and A Hussain 3-27 were the main contributors in the win for Burton Joyce 133-9 over Ravenshead 132-9 as the game was decided with just two deliveries remaining. Caunton were unable to raise a side in the fixture at Flintham.

Bar Lane Community Sports Division G

Winning with three balls to spare were Balderton 186-5 as Sam Ross 75 S. Barnett 45* & E Tranter 4-43 all performed in the home win over Whatton & Aslockton 185-10. Shez Iqbal 4-5 & Nash Khan 3-16 bowled Carrington 96-6 to a home win over Young Lions 95-10 in this low scoring encounter. 50* from J Griffiths proved to be a match winner for Kimberley 135-5 as they returned home victorious when overcoming Fiskerton & Thurgarton 134-6. Zed Rahman 35 and youngster Sam King (14 yrs) 3-2 took Gedling Colliery 107-8 to a close win over West Bridgford Legion 106-10. Adam Plumbley hit 69 for Beeston & Toton 158-8 but they fell short when chasing the 160-8 made by Kinoulton in which Steve Harling hit 60.

Turner Violins Division H

James Binnie took 4-36 in the low scoring match for Attenborough 109-7 in the home win over Calverton 108-10. A glorious 95* form Dave Allen stood out as Bottesford 148-4 enjoyed a home win over Long Eaton 144-5. Saqib Shah 4-12 and Palwak Marjan 3-31 starred with the ball in the win for Clifton 120-10 as they defeated Chilwell 100-10. Madni 147-9 had Adnan Siddique taking 4-21 in their home win over Southwell 66-10 despite the efforts of Matt Clarke when taking 5-27 earlier in the afternoon. G Dawson 30*, Alan Pearson 4-12 & Andrew Pearson 4-23 which included a hat trick helped Stapleford 66-2 hand out a resounding defeat upon Gedling & Sherwood 64-10.

Carlton Car Centre Division J

Adam Brown 52, Andy Wagstaff 37, Charlie Finch 5-16 & Anthony Beastall 4-7 all performed creditably in the win gained by Hucknall 167-7 over Ellerslie 76-10 at Titchfield Park. George Lees with 54 took West Bridgfordians 130-3 to victory over Keyworth 129-8. Mark Groom took a fine 5-30 to reduce Ruddington to 73-10 but in reply Oxton struggled themselves being bowled out for 62-10 with Harry Johnson 5-32 and Joe Smith 3-16 doing the damage. Basford Old Boys failed to raise a side in the fixture against Hoveringham.

King Stone Products Division K

Wollaton 129-9 remain top with J Bajara 3-21 and Z Shahid 3-28 bowling them into prime position in the win over Farndon 64-10. Ben Turner 4-38 and Andy Crouch with 3-24 helped Kimberley 111-5 inflict defeat on visitors Caythorpe 110-10 for whom Carl Henshaw hit 44 and Harry Lane 34. J Curtis 36, S Butt 37*, M Leggett 38* and a fine return by J Mckay 6-43 saw Newark R&M 145-3 victors over visiting Bramcote 144-9. V. Thota 47 & 3-11, Nouman Maqsood 36 and Abdul Shah 3-33 gave Poplars 173-8 a narrow two wicket win over Collingham 170-10 for whom C Fisher hit 60, Attenborough v Great Dalby was cancelled due to a wet outfield.

Oracle Property Finance Ltd Division L

W Khalil 60 and Tom Bosworth 6-36 helped Basford Mill 168-9 record a home win over Old Dalby 127-10 despite an unbeaten 46* from W Gent. Maqsood Ahmad  42 and Neil Appadurai 4-12 to Chilwell 92-7 to a thrilling win over Thrumpton 91-9 for whom Jonty Rye hit 43. Jahid Hasan with 7-14 ripped the heart out of opposition batting line up for Bengal United 23-0 as East Bridgford were tumbled out for just 22-10. M Thorley 4-25 and B Chalkey 3-15 helped Underwood 69-4 to a home win over Belvoir 68-10 and in the process give themselves a chance of escaping the dreaded drop. Radcliffe on Trent were unable to raise a side in the fixture against RHP.

Robert Whowell & Partners Division M

L Briggs 49 top scored for Bingham 113-10 but they fell short in chasing down the 135-7 set by Kirkby Portland as Adrian Severn took 3-2 and Owen Thomas Burton 3-19. Dale Reeve 4-15 and Leon Johnson (14) with 3-24 grabbed victory for Lambley 105-10 as Burton Joyce fell four runs short finishing on 101-9. Graham Caudwell 50* and an excellent 5-18 from Ian Dowell saw Hucknall 123-4 gain an away win over Nott’s & Arnold 116-10. Luke Essex 41* and 3-17 from Simon Winarski helped West Bridgfordians 88-2 inflict a heavy defeat upon Lowdham 87-10. Rik Matthems 42, Graham Barry 34 & Andy Matthews 4-17 combined together in the home win for Wymeswold 111-7 over Nottingham Deaf 91-10

Paul Grundell Division N

An unbeaten 106 from Nadeem Akhtar was the backbone innings in the win for Ellerslie 195-5 dec as they then dismissed Nott’s & Arnold for 65-10 in reply. Prashant Khanna took 5-10 as Gedling & Sherwood 35-2 ran out convincing winners over Beeston & Toton 34-10. In tricky batting conditions the 30 made by R Turner proved decisive as Fiskerton & Thurgarton 137-5 ran out winners over Newark R&M 136-6. Whatton & Aslockton failed to raise a side in the game against Keyworth
