WEEKLY REPORT 10th June 2017

Rye Cafe & Bar Division A
An undefeated third wicket partnership from Fahad Ul Haq 57* & Seb Menzhausen 50*(14yrs) backed up the bowling performances from David Pipes 3-53, Will Cousins 3-26 and Lee Fazackerley 3-40 to see Collingham 159-2 coast home against Balderton 158-10. Carrington 111-4 cruised to victory as G Hussain 3-20 & Z Ahmed 3-25 helped restrict opponents Gedling Colliery to 110-9 earlier in the days play. Sam Clulow 68 top scored in Attenborough’s score of 201-10 but Ellerslie 202-2 were seen home to a fine win by Hamish Moore 66, John Wakeling 61*, Richard Harris 57* and Peter Vladev 4-42 (including hat trick). An excellent century from David Barr 122 and 62 M Iqbal helped Wollaton 256-5 claim a winning draw over Kimberley 178-5 in the battle of the top two. Greg Oldfield with 98 & 4-55 outshone all others as Belvoir 158-4 ran out convincing winners in the away win over Plumtree 152-10
200 Degrees Coffee Division B 
Clifton 250-6 controlled from start to finish in the win over Long Eaton 85-10 with contributions from Luke Gunn 76, Richard Harrison 73*, Liam Brazier 46 & Alex Turner 4-16. Carrington 230-9 gained a winning draw over Hoveringham 141-9 with Bigwa Singh 74, Ibraheem Khalil 53 & Waheed Kayani 41* all figuring. Calverton 65-3 remain top with both Ryan Evans 3-5 and a quick fire 40 from S Andrews paving the way in the away win over Kirkby Portland 61-10. Joe Fish hit 65 in Wollaton’s total of 159-9 in which Shaharyar Aslam took 7-53 and then bowling of both Asad Khan 5-47-5 and Alec Cobbett 3-47 steered them to a win over Nott’s Unity 101-10. The game between Eastwood & Southwell was cancelled due to a rain affected wicket
Rothera Sharp Division C.
A much needed first win of the season for Farndon 149-3 was ensured with the 61* from Danny Hubbard in their win over Beeston & Toton 145-9. A spell of 4-31 from Charles Lee helped Caythorpe 149-7 to a three wicket win over Fiskerton/Thurgraton 146-9 to keep them top of the table. Harry Finch with 51 and 5-54 from Akif Farooq helped Hucknall 199-9 to maximum points in a thrilling encounter with Gedling & Sherwood 185-10. Jordan Harbottle 68 & 3-8 helped Radcliffe on Trent 172-10 to a sixteen run win over Gotham 156-10 for whom Steve Haworth top scored with 65. Ally Pettit 73 helped West Bridgfordians 199-8 claim a winning draw over Keyworth 174-9 who had both Sam Foster 61 & Dhruv Shahi 51 & 4-38 in fine form.
Rex Gooding Division D
Nic Silverwood top scored with 77 in Bottesford’s total of 228-10 and although Pete Godden hit 75 in reply Bramcote fell short in closing on a score of 216-6. Gary Clark with 46 & 3-39 guided Collingham 173-10 to an excellent win over Ellerslie 152 for whom Taimoor Tasnim starred with 37 & 5-26. Thrumpton 148-5 stay top thanks to 65 from J Anstey and 5-39 from D Huskinson in the sides away win at East Bridgford 147-10. P White 76, J Stockdale 53* & R Tapp 3-25 all played key roles as Plumtree 195-5 ran out easy winners over Gedling Colliery 125-9. The 4-31 from C Hogg helped Hickling 108-3 record an impressive away win over newcomers Grantham 107-8 who return to the foot of the table.
Trophy Master Division E
A fine 75* from Paul Chadwick keeps Belvoir 136-1 at the summit of affairs with a comprehensive home win over Caythorpe 134-8. L Randell 66 & 4-25 from Rebecca King saw Kirkby Portland 178-6 condemn East Leake 114-10 to another defeat and are now well adrift at the bottom of the division. Mathew Evans 62* & 3-29 and Anthony Hall 4-31 both produced in the excellent win for Newark R&M 119-1 in the home win over West Bridgfordians 115-10. An excellent finish in which either side could have took the spoils saw Nott’s Unity 184-10 victorious by eight runs over Ruddington 176-10 as the runs made by Uneeb Zafar 68 and Mohammed Aleem 44 proved to be match winning scores. Wickets fell in rapid succession throughout the days play and in a tense finale where Sutton Bonington 74-8 nervously edged home in the away win over Underwood 73-10.
GB Bookkeeping Division F
Richard Stanton with 6-11 heaped more misery on Gotham as they capitulated to a score of 33-10 and Burton Joyce 34-2 bagged a twenty point haul to move into the top half of the table. Basford Mill 168-10 recorded an away win over Lenton Willoughby 98-10 despite the efforts from home side’s bowlers B Johnson 4-18 & J Wilkinson 5-32. M Isherwood 114  & S Taylor 81 and 3-35 both turned on the style for Flintham 271-5 in an away win over Ravenshead 169-10 in which J Tadd finished unbeaten on 90*. The trio of Ashley Graham 45 & 3-31, LLoyd Naake 40 and Justin Graham 4-47 combined together to see Lowdham 160-5 victorious over Wymeswold 157-8 in a final ball thriller. 
Bar Lane Community Sports Division G. 
A devastating spell of 5-8 from Baz Bailey ensured Gedling Colliery 169-7 stay in the promotion hunt after his efforts put Beeston & Toton 56-10 into all sorts of trouble. Kinoulton 161-8 stay as pacesetters with S Campbell 52 & 3-34 carrying them to victory over Carrington 138-10. Callum Daniels top scored with 45 to help West Bridgford Legion 145-8 come out on top with a narrow seven run win over Balderton. Assad Hussain 67, Nathan Jones 44, Sam Smith 32* & D Miller 4-33 all produced on the day as newly formed Fiskerton/Thurgarton 204-7 kept up there recent run of good form as they inflicted a heavy defeat upon Whatton & Aslockton 105-10. Kimberley’s home game with Young Lions was cancelled due to a wet wicket.
Turner Violins Division H
Saqib Shah with a fantastic spell of 4-8 bowled Clifton 80-4 to an impressive win over Calverton 76-10. A Culpin took 5-10 to reduce Chilwell to a total of 87-10 but then Bottesford slumped to 41-10 with U Khan 4-11, M Amjid 3-12 and S Hossain 3-2 doing the damage. Z.Akhtar 98, H.Khan 6-23 and K.Ali 4-24 all made amazing performances as Gedling & Sherwood 213-7 crushed opponents Long Eaton 45-10. Madni 146-8 came out on top in the match of the day against Stapleford 106-10 with the match winner being Hanzilla Siddique when taking 5-36. A strong team ethos was evident as Attenborough’s quartet of Colin McConnell 41, Finlay Meakin 77, Rich Henson 41* and Charlie Simkiss 3-22 all inputted into the victory over Southwell 138-10.
Carlton Car Centre Division J
A vital and what proved to be a match winning 43* from T Kerring carried Oxton 130-7 across the winning line as they overcame Basford Old Boys 129-7. J Guthrie 5-19, Ross Brown 48* & James Easom 46* were the heroes for Hucknall 120-2 in a strong team win over Keyworth 119-9. Once again Eddie Storr with 80* was the reason why Ruddington 115-0 were in dominating form after bowling out Cotgrave for 114 earlier in the afternoon. An excellent win for Woodborough 202-3 as James Watterson 83*, Andy Marsden 42 and Simon Harrison 3-2 all figured in the win over Ellerslie 127-7. Hoveringham were unable to raise a side in their away fixture at West Bridgfordians. 
King Stone Products Division K
Harvey Stone (under 14) 3-28 & P Mansfield 3-26 bowled Newark R&M 137-6 to victory over Caythorpe 136-10 despite a fine 50 from Simon Park. Blayne Riley 56 and 53 from John Aldred ensured Kimberley 213-6 controlled the match as they then restricted opponents Collingham to 95-6 in reply.Nouman Maqsood 62 and Humayun Baig 43* helped Poplars 196-5 to a twenty six run win over Farndon 170-5 who at least had the consolation of John Easom deservedly taking the man of the match award with his 64* & 3-20. Wollaton 136-10 came out in top after they then reduced Attenborough to 90-8 in reply.
Oracle Property Finance Ltd Division L
The combination of William Street 42* & 4-25 and 45 from Matt Huskinson helped Basford Mill 127-4 to a routine win over Underwood 126-9. Neil Appadyrai 3-8 & Nick Bennet 3-11 turned defeat into victory as Chilwell 87-10 then bowled out opponents Bengal United for a measly total of 54. Old Dalby 301-8 continue to bulldoze opponents as Ben Wass top scored with 55 in their emphatic win over Radcliffe on Trent 159-10. A well-deserved 20 point haul was the reward for East Bridgford 163-9 with Adnan Mehmood 81, C Sapay 3-17 & Anser Mehmood 3-7 in an away victory over RHP 56-10. Thrumpton 84-6 had a few worries on their way to a four wicket win over Belvoir 83-10 with Sam Charlton taking 3-7.
Robert Whowell & Partners Division M
S. Leach 77*, L. Hartland 37 & Josh Kingsley 5-11 were the instigators of a fine win for Bingham 171-5 over Burton Joyce 42-10. Dylan Hughes took a wicket with his first ball in senior cricket but it was not enough to help West Bridgfordians 81-10 stave of defeat when chasing Hucknall’s total of 100-10 set earlier in which Alex Pavier hit 48*. In a low scoring game it was the 4-10 from Adrian Severn for Nott’s & Arnold 62-7 that proved to be conclusive in the win over Kirkby Portland 61-10. Lambley 121-9 dented the title challenge of previous leaders Nottingham Deaf 72-10 with Paul Mantle taking 6-26. Lowdham 186-7 replace them at the top of the table as T Austin 55, R Ramsey 48 & J Batterham 37 all figured in the win over Wymeswold 114-10.
Paul Grundell Division N
Matthew Plowright with 3-16 was the pick of the bowlers in Beeston & Toton 68-8 win over Newark 61-10 in a thrilling climax to the game. Nadeem Akhtar with 69 carried Ellerslie to a total of 109-6 but West Bridgford Legion 111-4 held their nerve with Robin Whitehead 31* seeing them home. Another nail biter saw Fiskerton/Thurgarton 83-8 stumble across the winning line after defeating Whatton & Aslockton 82-10 with S Alsop taking 4-17. Gedling & Sherwood 240-4 were in dominating for when inflicting a heavy defeat upon Nott’s & Arnold 92-10 with Tom Harris 46, Lezaz Ul-Hasn 42 Murray Wild 45, Martin Khado 73* & Josh Parnell 4-14 all playing their parts in the victory.
