DCCL dual registration

Written by Dennis Wright. Posted in Committee Communications

DUAL REGISTRATION

Please note that Derbyshire CCL do not allow dual registration.
Therefore you are either SNCL registered to play Saturday's or for the DCCL.
This, we believe, is the only league in the country enforcing this rule.
If you wish to transfer to the DCCL then please be aware your SNCL registration must be removed or your transfer will not be accepted by Chris Higginbottom. We will not remove the SNCL registration without the player contacting the league to request it.

...

As the ECB request we make every effort to "Get the game on" we believe the above is against this spirit.
If a player wishes, due to their circumstances, play across borders for two club's in order to get a game, the SNCL will not stop them.

Of course, via the Notts CB any player, banned by any league, will not be allowed to register and play during that ban.

To confirm the notification period ends tonight (Monday 6th February) and final fixtures can be viewed at the SNCL play cricket site.

Ahead of tonights AGM the fixtures will be uploaded to play cricket.

Each club has up to 14 days to notify me of any errors (ie shared ground issues), which we will attempt to rectify.

If as a HOME team you need to move a fixture, let me know by email with the reasons why, you do not need to ask the opposition.

If you are an AWAY team wishing to move a fixture, speak with the home team for agreement and email me and the home team in the communication's.

These fixtures are provisional and subject to change, do not send your fixtures to the printers, CHANGES WILL BE MADE.

The charge against Zulfikar Ali was found proved, and the following penalties were imposed:

i) ZA will be banned from all cricket for two weeks commencing on the Friday before the first Saturday of the 2017 season when there is a FULL League programme. The start/finish dates will be confirmed as soon as the 2017 playing season is finalised.

ii) In addition ZA will received a further 2 week ban, suspended until the end of the 2017 season. This applies to ALL matches for Carrington CC regardless of Division.

iii) ZA is fined the sum of £30.00. Payment to be remitted to the League Treasurer, Mr Ken Bloor

iv) ZA is to send a personal letter of apology to Mr Steve Derry (Umpire on the day) and to Woodborough CC.

N.B. At the meeting the cut-off date for iii and iv above was set as 30th September. Given the delay in sending this confirmation, a further weeks grace will be given i.e. Payment (iii) and Letters (iv) should be received by 7th October at the latest.

As Zulfikar Ali failed to attend the hearing, he loses the right of appeal in this matter. (League Rule 12.4.b)

2) In the matter of the Suspended fine of £100.00 imposed on Carrington CC confirmed by letter on 24/8/15.

i) This fine is now confirmed. Payment should be made to the League Treasurer, Mr Ken Bloor, no later than 7th October 2016.

ii) A further fine of £150.00 is imposed upon Carrington CC. This is suspended until the end of 2017 season (date to be considered as after the conclusion of the last CCC match of the 2017 season). In addition a deduction of 20 League Points will be applied to relevant CCC team involved in further disciplinary action.

These findings(matter 2) are subject to revision in the event of Notice to Appeal from Carrington CC. Such notice to be received by the League Secretary by Thursday 22nd September, together with a deposit of £80. (League Rule 12.6.a). As this matter was fully discussed at the Hearing it is not appropriate for an extension to be granted as in Matter 1 above.

Best Wishes
